Mr. Panagiotis Touzopoulos is a mission manager at Open Cosmos, working on the greek earth observation optical constellation project and is heading the Open Cosmos’s facilities development in Greece. Panagiotis has extensive experience in operations and technical positions in the aerospace sector.

Panagiotis started his career as an Officer (engineer) in the Hellenic Airforce. Throughout his career he held numerous positions in operations, quality assurance, research & development and accident investigation. The application of quality standards had a great impact at every position he held.

He will be the Mission Manager for the greek earth observation optical constellation which consists of five high resolution and two very high resolution microsatellites. These microsatellites will be manufactured in Greece by Open Cosmos Aegean.

Panagiotis will be heading the greek facilities development and operations, including a new cleanroom, mechanical and electrical labs.
