Davide Bertolina is a seasoned Energy Engineer specializing in HVAC design for clean rooms. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2020, with a thesis focused on particle monitoring for the preservation of Leonardo’s Last Supper. Starting his career at M&G Engineering Consulting as a Project Engineer, Davide developed innovative ideas for energy saving and modernized mechanical plants for residential and commercial buildings.

In 2021, Davide joined CSV Life Science srl as an HVAC & Utilities specialist, where he focused on the EuGMP standard for the pharmaceutical industry. His responsibilities included sizing HVAC systems and mechanical plants for both national and international projects, involving new facilities and revamping existing ones. He was also engaged in BMS and automation preliminary design, the development of energy-efficient solutions, and comprehensive project management from layout to bill of quantities. Additionally, Davide conducted CFD analysis for clean rooms and technical areas, provided technical support to project managers, and coordinated with suppliers to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

Since 2024, Davide has been serving as the Senior Technical Manager at CSV Life Science. In this role, he leads a team of HVAC specialists and BIM modelers, managing project schedules, providing technical support and training, and collaborating with clients to ensure project goals are met. His expertise encompasses developing energy-saving technologies, conducting site surveys and inspections, and ensuring compliance with the EuGMP requirements for clean rooms. Davide’s leadership and technical acumen have been pivotal in advancing the mechanical design capabilities of CSV Life Science.

His extensive project portfolio includes the development of tools for forecasting energy and maintenance consumption, estimating costs for new facilities at various project stages, and fully developing projects from initial layout to detailed specifications and documentation. Known for his ability to integrate innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of efficiency and regulatory compliance, Davide has made significant contributions to the field of HVAC design for clean rooms. His dedication to optimizing cleanroom performance and energy consumption ensures that projects not only meet but exceed industry standards and client expectations.
