Antonis Stefanidis is a Chemical Engineer with over 5 years of experience in technical cleanliness for Li-ion cell and battery manufacturing. He specializes in clean and dry room design, process integration, and operation. Currently, Antonis serves as the Contamination Control Expert at Automotive Cells Company (ACC), where he manages R&D plants, pilot plants, and gigafactories.

 

Antonis began his career in cleanroom technology at SGS Greece S.A., where he managed the Clean Room Validation Laboratory. He later joined Northvolt AB, where he was responsible for technical cleanliness and managed clean and dry rooms for gigafactories, R&D plants, and pilot plants. His expertise includes developing cleanliness plans, managing teams, and supporting ISO audits.

 

At ACC, Antonis is responsible for contamination control in gigafactories, ensuring that the facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. His work involves developing technical cleanliness PFMEA and control plans, designing and implementing laboratories for cleanliness analysis, and supporting supply chain and engineering teams in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
