Ziva Abraham is the President and Founder of Microrite Inc., a California-based GMP consulting firm specializing in contamination control. With over 35 years of academic research, clinical, and industrial experience in microbiology and quality assurance, Ziva is a recognized expert in her field. She holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology and has conducted extensive research on developing microbial insecticides using entomogenous bacteria and fungi towards her Ph.D.

Ziva’s professional journey began in clinical microbiology, where she established laboratory systems and evaluated the first automated microbial identification systems. She introduced new technologies for HIV testing and other rapid methods into the clinical laboratories she managed in Israel. These laboratories conducted comprehensive testing in microbiology, chemistry, parasitology, hematology, and immunology.

In 1998, Ziva founded Microrite Inc., leveraging her extensive experience to build a team of experts in contamination control. Her team includes professionals in facilities, cleanroom airflow, static charge validation, quality, and microbiology. Microrite is renowned for resolving client issues, preventing contamination through design, and ensuring the production of safe products for human and veterinary use.
